In AmericaLife is a struggle! 19 April New York (3rd time)I was supposed to see and take some pictures with the Statue of Liberty in New York this time. I got many good and cute pictures from the trip by Ann, who's a good photographer and planner. She also taught me how to take good pictures and I think I was improved by teaching from her. New York in Spring this time was so crowded and complicated. There were too many tourists from around the world. Everywhere was pretty dirty, especially in China town. Anyway, it's great to see BEE BEE, one of my friends from my skiing trip. She's very nice to invite us staying over night with her and her host dad was so cute and friendly. 06 April NBA in PhillyAt last, I had a chance to watch NBA basketball last Sunday, April 2 between Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks with my friends from the English school (International House). We had the plan watching an NBA game before but we all were too busy to get a chance. Last Sunday was like a farewell game for me too because I'm gonna leave Philly so soon and I don't think I'd have time to watch any NBA match again. The game wasn't exciting but I liked the atmosphere...mmm Anyway, I felt it's just a sport business even I love NBA basketball so much but I can't deny to feel like that.
After finishing the game, I couldn't remember how to get to the train station to go back home so my friends walked me to the train station and talked until it's time to get in the train. I really had a good time with my friends again. 04 April Chicago: The Windy CityI almost forgot to talk about my trip to Chicago! I've been there for 6 days (between 22-27 March) with great helping from my lovely friend, Phai, who's the au pair for the family I've lived with until now and Yut, who's my brother's friend and Phai's friend named Aud, who made sushi so good and took pictures for Phai and I a lot.
It's so windy in Chicago, so that's why it's called The Windy City. I had so much fun with them and ate very good food each meal. If I were there without them, I'd never have fun and get good pictures from Chicago. Thank you ja and miss you all. 25 February Winter Olympics (Torino, Italy)The Winter Olympics from Torino, Italy 2006!
I didn't know before that the Winter Olympics was held this year in Italy. Anyway, I was so impressed with ladies figure skating because I was interested in the figure skating from reading a Japanese comic (One More Jump). The story was about a girl, 13, who loved figure skating since she was 3 years and she had talented to jump on the ice and she practiced so hard to go to Winter Olympics. She did her best until she got the gold medal from the Olympics! Oh! How wonderful! This Olympic at Torino, the Japanese girl won the gold medal, so she reminded me my favorite comic! I watched the competition from NBC channel and I was so excited too! Even though I can't skate at all and never try it, I love to watch ice skating a lot and it's great to have fun watching this fantastic sport here in America. I hope I could go to Canada for the next Winter Olympics...hehehe 04 January First skiing with cool friends! The first time for skiing at Pocono mountain, Pennsilvania was great! I had so much fun with my friends: P'Fon, P'Bee, Ann and Kate throughtout 3 days, 3 nights. We were so lucky with the weather. It snowed enough to play with real snow! and it's so beautiful everywhere on the mountain. We took a ski lesson for beginners but we had ski stuff like professionals.
P'Fon: you're like a manager of the trip. Good job!
Kate: miss you, jub jub
P'Bee: it's very nice to know you from the trip. Most of your words touched my heart! Hopefully seeing you again soon!
Ann: Thanks for teaching how to take good photos. You're a very cool person! Waiting for your visiting in Philly again.
Anonymous helper: Oh! he's so cute and kind. He helped me get my boots on the top of lockers.
P'Tai and Paul: A sweet couple has appeared. Her dancing was so sexy!
29 December Wonderful time in LondonFirst of all, thank you so much for any help from everybody in London, especially my great friend, Aaron and his family. He's such a patient friend ever (hahaha). Yunyoung, Thanks for your korean lunch and the green tea and hanging out with me. You're so kind and lovely! Kyoung A and Nakyoung, thanks for showing me around some places in London. Both of you are very nice. Jihye, you have a good sense of humour and thanks for the hot chocolate with cream...hmm yummy. Mimi, it's very nice talking to you and we have the same job but just different country. I really enjoyed travelling around London with cold weather and a little rain sometimes and it's fun to listen to British accent and compare to american English. I had a wonderful time in London for my christmas this year. It's the best christmas ever! I'll never forget. |
